This software package allows the user to connect to the VM-3 Character Generator (VM3) in the office directly to an IBM compatible PC running Windows® through a 9-pin serial port. A user can also remotely connect to the VM-3 Character Generator (VM3) by adding the IP/Serial Port Converter. With this configuration, the user can do the following:

• Author and store hundreds of message project files for future use.
• Update the remote VM-3 Character Generators (VM3)’s directly from the computer or via IP to Serial Converter. 
• Upload all the messages (project files) from the VM-3 Character Generator (VM3) for storage on the user’s hard drive. 
• Upload messages or entire project files from the remote units to verify or examine message presentations currently running.
