RF Over Fiber Compact RFoG Drop Receiver 45-870 MHz Compact and affordable RF fiber optic receiver for Television Coax signals. Converts the fiber optic signal from a transmitter back to coax for distribution to TV_x0092_s and tuners. The Thor F-RF system is used for the transport and distribution of CATV RF signals over fiber optic cable. The transmitter converts the incoming RF signal (870 MHz) to an optical signal. This optical signal can be distributed to multiple end points with a coupler, or can be run more than 20 miles over a singlemode fiber optic cable. Often times a full size rack mount receiver is not needed at the endpoints. The CATV mini receiver is used as a low cost end point when rack equipment is not needed. The units have adjustable RF output level to drive multiple displays and ship with robust external power supplies. These units can also be used to make low cost 'Fiber Breaks'. A Fiber Break allows RF to pass in only one direction and are essential for high level data security. Without an RF return path, the system cannot be modified to extract data over an RF line. Features: Compact Drop Receiver for Fiber to Coax Silent Design with Passive Cooling Fanless design for silent operation and installation in any location Compact form factor with adjustable manual gain control and external PSU Works with full channel lineup television RF signals from 45 - 870 MHz Specifications: Wavelength Response: 850-1610nm Optical Sensitivity: -9 dBm Fiber Connector: SC/APC RF Connector: Type-F 75 Ohm Power Input: 12 VDC Power Rating: 20W Temperature: -5 - 65 C Product Documents & Videos Spec Sheet Click to Download User Manual Click to Download See More
